Abraham Lincoln Watercolor Portraits
Pictured above are 2 versions of Abraham Lincoln recently completed. The first one is watercolor and is titled “Blue Lincoln”. The second one features the Abraham Lincoln bridge drawn in charcoal over Lincoln’s portrait in watercolors and gouache.
After visiting Louisville Kentucky a couple of weeks ago I decided to continue the presidential series I’ve been working on for a number of years. A special thank you to Todd Lewis and Kara Stinson Lewis for hosting me as their artist in residence for the week that I was in town. It was an awesome trip and I’m super grateful for all the great connections made there. There are definitely plans to return to Louisville soon since I’ll be painting more creations inspired from the trip.
Signed prints will be available soon along with a big announcement!
Have a fantastic day!
